As we enter the season of Lent, you are invited to join us as a church community in prayer, fasting, scripture and listening to God.

Lent is not about ‘religious performance’.

It is a season of the Church calendar — to focus on honesty, repentance and returning to God while naming loss, longing, and hope.

This year, we are journeying through the OT book of Joel, a prophetic voice that speaks into times of disruption, uncertainty, and crisis.

Joel does not rush to explanations or quick answers. Instead, he invites God’s people to lament, to return, and to trust that restoration begins even before it can be seen.

Lent prepares us to encounter the resurrection of Jesus — not as an escape from the world’s pain, but as the beginning of God’s renewal of all things.
