Prayer

We are committed to weekly and seasonal rhythms of prayer. We have a dedicated prayer space- available all week, just across the road at our Church office in Moneyreagh.

Our vision is to create opportunities for people to gather and pray, together or alone and to hold our arms outstretched for the Father’s help!

It is a place to set ourselves aside to be in the presence of God in prayer and to bring our friends, family, community, and the world to Him.

Gathered prayer

10:30am pre-service on Sunday

Prayer ministry

We have a Prayer Ministry Team who have been trained in praying for others. Prayer ministry is available after our Sunday morning service.

Abide / Worship & prayer

On the 4th Sunday evening of the month we host an extended time of worship & prayer at 7pm.

Jesus said that we must abide in Him, that apart from Him we can do nothing. Abide means to remain or stay somewhere, so these nights are creating space and pursuing God’s presence above all else..

Worship can change atmospheres, and we can experience a glimpse of His Kingdom invading earth through the freedom, life and healing that He brings.

Prayer Box.

At Moneyreagh church we want to pray for you! We believe in the power of prayer and want to be a community who supports each other in prayer at all times. But we also know that sometimes it’s hard to talk about what’s on your heart. So leave us a message in this prayer box. You can make your message completely anonymous and we’ll pray for you. Or if you’d like to, leave us a name and some contact details and we’d love to briefly get in touch to pray for you, with you.

Prayer room

We have a dedicated prayer space in our community that is available for anyone to use.

It is set up interactive prayer stations, bibles, devotionals, books, music, facilities for tea and coffee and a toilet.

Our hope is that it will be a “thin place” where we contend for our community and the nations and a place where God’s presence is tangible.
